The best place for healing is the Buddhist paradise Ladakh. At least, that’s what I thought when leaving. After a grueling journey along the steep precipices and thin peaks of the Himalaya, I finally reach the last shangri-la, the last piece of heaven on earth. Here I undergo mystical healings and prayer ceremonies with oracles, lahmos and yogis and learn for a lifetime. That may all sounds very heroic, but standing in front of a group of strangers in my underwear or peeing on commando, makes it an uncomfortable experience at some moments as well.
I continually strive to lessen the impact that manufacturing has on the environment. Therefore I use FineArt inkjet papers made of raw plant fibers that grow quickly, don’t require pesticides, and don’t need optical brighteners. Besides eco-friendly, the result is a museum quality for high age resistance print with a rough, yet delicately defined surface texture that gives the subject a captivating sense of depth.
